Plastics
All Plastics (#’s 1-7 located within the recycling symbol). Please remove all lids. Please rinse and flatten containers.
Metal
Steel and tin cans e.g. pet food, baked bean cans, etc.
Aluminum drink cans (smashing cans will leave room for other products)
Empty aerosol cans, aluminum foil plates, copper piping or tubing.
Paper
We take all clean dry paper.
Newspapers, glossy magazines, junk mail, office paper, letters, envelopes, even old bills.
Cardboard and boxboard- Thin card, such as cereal, soap, and greeting cards.
Egg cartons and trays. Corrugated cardboard.
Glass
We have recently added glass jars and bottles to our recycling.
Large amounts of broken glass, however, are still not accepted at this time.
Please do NOT include:
- Large or heavy metals – such as appliances, large amounts of piping and/or wiring
- Corrosive, flammable, reactive, or toxic products
- Telephone books – instructions for recycling are included at the time of distribution
- Food waste or organic substances – check out composting online!
