Rate Increase Explanation 2025

Dear United Disposal customers,

As you know, United Disposal is committed to providing high-quality, professional waste disposal  services at a reasonable price. To maintain that level of service, an increase in our rates is  needed. While we recognize the frustration that this may bring, we thought it might help to  understand why this is necessary.

1. Our dump rates have gone up twice in the last year. First by 3.6% (which we absorbed) and  then by 9%. While our dumping costs have gone up by over 12%, we’re only increasing our  own rates by 9%.

2. Other costs have gone up as well. Labor, parts, dumpsters, and cans have all gone up by 9- 28%. While we do our best to minimize cost disruptions, the combination of cost increases  necessitates change.

We constantly strive to give superior service for a reasonable price, and that hasn’t and won’t  change. We also commit to transparency in all our pricing, which is why we let our customers  know about any concerns as soon as possible. We recognize that price increases can be painful,  and we appreciate your business every day as we try to keep costs down and improve the lives of  our customers through the services we offer. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at  customerservice@uniteddisposal.com or call us at (928) 636-5203. Best wishes to everyone.

I recently signed up for service. Do I still have to pay the higher price?

While we would prefer to honor pricing given to our new customers, we must raise our rates to  meet the new and unforeseen cost increases.

What about the extra costs you have for paper billing and postage? Can I reduce the rates in  any way?

This new rate increase is general and brought on by a significant cost increase for us to dump our  trash among other things. Customers that use paper billing can minimize and eliminate the paper  billing additional charge by changing to quarterly / annual billing or enrolling in our email billing  program or autopay. If you’re already on our email billing program you can move from monthly to  quarterly or from quarterly to annual billing and get better rates using those programs.

Will there be price increases in the future?

We can’t predict the future, but we promise to A) minimize and reduce our own costs to keep your  rates down and B) be transparent about pricing for all our customers forever. I can say we do not  expect another price increase for some time, and we are actively working on ways to reduce costs  in the future to minimize the need to raise our rates.

We hope to have a long and happy future with you, our loyal customers.
