Shoes are interesting things. We don’t really think much about them until they don’t work. Branding on shoes is consequently very important. If a brand of shoes becomes known for poor quality, sales of it’s products will go down drastically as people look down the road for a better deal. But what about a good brand? What does it take to maintain a positive image for a brand of shoes?
When I was in my early twenties, I had a high quality pair of dress shoes gifted to me by a generous individual. I used and abused those shoes, but they never failed me. I wore them to church, business functions, and anywhere dress shoes were appropriate for over a decade. I loved those shoes. Finally the day came to retire my beloved footwear. Wanting shoes of a similar quality I went back to the same brand. What I didn’t know was since my shoes had been given me, the company had sold out to new owners who had found cheaper, lower quality materials and manufacturing methods. Within three months my new shoes were ruined. I was frustrated by the experience, and will never purchase another pair of shoes from that brand.
In my own industry, brand is also very important. Since I founded this company we have striven to be top-of-the-line in service and competitive in price. That consistent, persistent drive for quality has shown in the long-term business our customers have given us. We thank you for that, and we will continue to examine who we are in an effort to improve our service to you.
If you are ready to give your business to someone with a proven track record of service and value, give us a call. We’ll be happy to help you join us. If you’re already with us, you can expect our commitment to superior quality to maintain itself for years to come. That’s how we do it at United.
